"God does speak—sometimes one way and sometimes another—even though people may not understand it." Job 33:14 (NCV) Ater we ask in faith for God's help and guidance, we need to listen for God's response!
Last night we returned home to Devon for our first full night sleep in a proper bed for a week.

Dear Ray, Averil and Jo,
We are deeply shocked and saddened at Elaine's sudden passing. Your dignity and strength of faith following this tragedy has been incredible.

Dear Ray, Avril and Jo,
Thank you so much for thinking of others in what is such a difficult time for you. Keeping us updated has helped in the grieving process. Hopefully you will find comfort in all the wonderful things people are saying about your truly inspirational and amazing daughter. God Bless you all, Caroline, Clive, Simon and Katy Ashcroft
I only met Elaine twice, around the time of Jenny Phillips' wedding, but I will always remember her loving, generous personality, that was so evident as soon as you met her. She genuinely liked and respected people and made you instantly feel better about yourself because you felt valued by her.
I remember her saying to me after Jenny's spa day that it really meant a lot to Jenny to have me there. It made me feel so special. Her little acts of kindness will never be forgotten by all of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thank you for being so selfless and keeping us updated this past week.

Elaine was the most amazing girl and i am devestated to see her go. She was like a big sister to me and i enjoyed every second i spent with her! Ray, Averil and Jo i am with you on this unanswered question ' why god took her away from us?' I dont know now and i never will! But what i do know is that she was a truly amazing girl and I will never forget her! When i was liitle I used to call her Dulaine because i couldnt say it right but to her family I am sure she will live a happy life in heaven joined by my dear brother William! Who also loved her! Love from Lucinda (now 10yrs old and following in Elaine's footsteps to DCHS)
Elaine was so radiant and loving. It was a radiance that came from within her, along with her beauty and serenity. We were so blessed to have known her and to share some wonderful times together. We will miss her terribly but will remember her with such happiness and affection.
How proud you must be to hear the chorus of praise and admiration for your wonderful girl from all the people who knew her and so obviously shared your love for her.
Averil, Ray and Jo, we are thinking of you and hoping that the thoughts and prayers of so many people will give you some comfort. Elaine must be so proud of you too. Your bravery and dignity has been a great comfort to others. Much love,
Helen, Eric, Thomas and Emily.
