Transplant Recipients

We have been notified that Elaine's organs were transplanted as follows:
Her corneas have gone into the cornea bank for use when needed. (They can store corneas for up to 10 years).
One  kidney and the Pancreas was given to a lady in her 30's and the other kidney to a man in his 20's.
The liver was given to a lady in her 50's who has a grown up family. All are doing well and out of intensive care.
The heart was given to a lady in her early 30's who has a young family. She is still in intensive care and needs our prayers for a full recovery.

I have signed the organ donor register - have you?

My step nephew has just undergone transplant surgery for kidneys and pancreas, I can't help but think of the family like yourselves who have given us this chance. Thank you for making us all think a little more than we did.. xx
