Afterwards there will be a “Thanksgiving for Life Service” at St Mary's Church, Denham Village, Buckinghamshire, on Friday the 26th of March at 1:00pm. The thanksgiving service is open to all who wish to attend and we would be delighted if you could join us. Please where possible wear cheerful clothing e.g. no black ties. Dear Mr and Mrs Stacey,

I was so saddened to hear the sad news about Elaine. I was in the year below her doing Biblical Studies at Sheffield. Although we did not know each other particularly well, she always spread light wherever she was and whoever she came into contact with.
Having read your blog and the comments left, I have been inspired to speak of my faith more readily and openly, just like Elaine did.
Please be assured that my prayers are with all of your family at this time.
God be with you all. May you be showered with His grace and love xxx

Dearest Ray,Avril & Jo
You continue to be very much in my thoughts and prayers as you walk this very difficult journey together. Ray & Avril - As you discover daily how much your lovely daughter meant to so many people, may you know God's encouragment & blessing about the great job you did as parents.
Jo - I know you will miss Elaine very much and I pray God will give you a very special friend to be like a new sister to you.

Dear Ray and Averil,

Bunny has just sent me your news. I'm so sorry! This comes with lots of love and prayers as you grieve and walk with the hole that Elaine has left. She sounds like a lovely lady - probably a great tribute to loving parents and the Lord's life in her. Love, Anne de R.

Dear Avril and Ray

I have been thinking and praying for you lots over the last few days. You have lost a beautiful daughter and I can't imagine how you must feel. It is lovely to see how much support you have and how many people loved Elaine.

We remember Elaine from robertswood - always happy to help with anything and so good with Jo, Heather and the rest of their friends. Our paths crossed a few times since then and it was always a pleasure to meet her.
We thank God for your strong faith and pray that God will give you supernatural strength and courage as you face the days ahead.
with love Janet Wilson

Jesus said
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God ; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."(John 14:1-3)

Dear Mr and Mrs Stacey,
I was sent the sad news about lovely Elaine by Ali Williams. I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm thinking and praying for you always. We were in the same year at DCHS and she was so much fun to go to school with she was and always will be the loveliest person I've met. I did my first work experience with her at St Josephs Primary school and we had such a fun week and I'm certain working with her and taking a class just by ourselves at 16 confirmed my career as a teacher. I'm so sorry I can't attend the service as I am in Australia doing my pgce but my thoughts will be with you and I will always remember Elaine when I teach. Please look after yourselves
Love Sarah Filler
