We and many other people have been praying for an extremely big awesome miracle for Elaine, but God has not answered our prayers in the way we wanted. We are weak frail human beings who ask for what we want and think is right but often we forget that he who reigns, our all-wise and all-knowing God, has a deeper more complex purpose in what he does.

We have been the beneficiaries of a number of miracles.

  • The Good Samaritan who stopped and helped her and did not drive by at speed.
  • The outpouring of support, love and prayer from the hundreds of people who knew her and loved her.
  • The now visible effects she has had in her short life on all who knew her and came into contact with her.
  • The dedication and compassion shown by the police, the emergency services, the nurses and doctors.
  • The gift of new life she has brought to many others through the donation of her organs.

God will never let go of Elaine, she is His child and He loves her. God has given her eternal life, and she will never perish, and no one will snatch her out of his hand.

I only had the pleasure of meeting Elaine once, but she impressed me by the way she looked over my daughter and her playmates at the park. The children all took to her and I knew she would make a great teacher some day. Reading over the comments from well-wishers on this blog, I now realize she always had been a great teacher and continues to teach us in her passing. God bless you for rearing up this good woman.

I did not know your daughter but everyone who did kmow her speeks very highly and with love about her. I have 3 daughters and 2 sons and I can only imagine the pain that you and the family are feeling. Our prayers are with you all and Elaine, she is with our Father in Heaven and is dancing at the love feast with Jesus. Wow - what a thought. x

Elaine was a student teacher at my school last year and only having a few chats with her I can tell you that she inspired me. Her joyful nature and willingness to talk about her faith in a non christian school was inspirational. As a christian she encouraged me to do the same, without words but through her actions. I pray that you know God's presence now and will continue to as the days pass. You are being prayed for.

I met your daughter a handful of times in Chalfont St Giles. I remember fondly one afternoon at the playground sitting and chatting while she looked after a friends child. She was so very warm and my little girl really enjoyed playing with her. It is so sad to hear of her passing. God bless x x
